I was a member of an online sports forum when I was asked if I would like to write articles on the CFL (Canadian Football League). It took me about 10 seconds to reply.
While the deadlines were tough, it was still always a kick to see my name beside some really good sportswriters like Archibald and Burns. I ended up being the CFL writer and editor for the magazine.
Will it be Edmonton and Montreal again? Pretty original! I did get better with time. Honest! The opportunity to write for the magazine eventually gave me the idea to write a book and eventually the Hollywood book was published. Since then I haven't stopped writing. I will probably keep writing until I forget how.
